Feel the power of mother nature and explore this million years history just in one day! Belogradchik rocks are natural phenomenon located in the Northwestern part of Bulgaria. For millions of years the nature has molded interesting forms from the rocks which are connected with many legends. We will see the Madonna, the Eagle, the Schoolgirl, Pinocchio and many more, depends on your imagination! Among the rocks we will visit the Belogradchick fortress which was built during the Roman Empire. If you can handle more adventures we will make an easy 45 minutes downhill hike around the rocks (OPTIONAL)
We offer you to embark on an amazing adventure and to get to know the place, ranked for the "New Seven Wonders of the World" - Belogradchik Rocks and the hidden ancient fortress among them! The place with a unique location for observing the starry sky and not only this... The unique natural phenomenon Belogradchik Rocks is a rock complex with a length of about 30 km and a width of 6-7 km. The rocks have been sculpted by nature for more than 200 million years. Their reddish tinge is due to the iron oxide content. They are diverse in form and size of rock art, rising more than 100 meters high! *Please note that the 30-min flight does not fly over the Belogradchik rocks. The 30-minute hot-air balloon flight in the Belogradchik area is the second flight of the day. It takes off from the landing site of the first flight (the 1-hour one) and is conducted under a forecast of light winds.
