Ouzoud Waterfalls & Aït Bougmez: High Atlas Adventure

Discover the authentic and lesser-explored side of Morocco’s High Atlas, far beyond the typical tourist routes. This journey combines the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, M’Goun Geopark and its dinosaur footprints, and the remarkable Aït Bougmez Valley, where traditional Berber villages, ancient architecture, fertile orchards, and dramatic mountain landscapes reveal the region’s rich heritage. A highlight of the experience is a visit to the valley’s first school dedicated to training tour guides, offering a unique opportunity to learn about the development of tourism and the importance of local knowledge in preserving and sharing the High Atlas heritage. This is more than a sightseeing trip—it is an immersive journey through nature, culture, history, and authentic mountain life.
